Mercedes-Benz S-Class Considered as Best Luxury Car

Over the past five years, the Mercedes-Benz S-class has been awarded the Best Luxury Car at the Auto Express New Car Awards of 2010.
David Johns, Auto Express Editor in Chief, said the S-Class maintains the top place in the in the luxury car lineup "despite the best efforts of the competition."
According to johns, the S-Class car is an eye catching vehicle that will meet the needs of all motorists.
Mike Whittington, Sales Director for Mercedes-Benz UK, said, " These consecutive wins really demonstrate the strength of the S-Class in the luxury segment and in October this year the S-Class will become an even more competitive package with the introduction of new active safety systems and BlueTEC technology."
Because of this new technology, Mercedes-Benz plans to be the first manufacturer to offer a vehicle that meets the EU 6 emission reduction regulations. The UK has the new emission laws scheduled to come into effect in 2014.
The new and unique BlueTEC technology Mercedes-Benz is using has been built to reduce emission significantly and improve the cars fuel efficiency.
