E-Class Cabrio By Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz has worked on a few Cabrio models in the past, but none of them have created from the all new E-Class Coupe. A group of German tuners at Carlsson have taken the E-class to the next level - a converible.

The vehicle enhancement company, Carlsson, has volumteered and succeeded at morphing an all new Mercedes-Benz E-Class two door into a drop top cabrio from luxury car paradise.

Aside from looking luxurious and just plain gorgeous, the Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI Cabriolet kit from Carlsson includes enhancements both the outside and internally.

The vehicle includes a 21 percent increase in power. Modifications to the V6 engine give an output of 280 PS (206 kW), with the maximum torque bumped up by 20 percent.

Making the engine more powerful, the engineers wanted the upgraded car to have an appropriate sound. They installed dual stainless steel tailpipes with a silencer.

Upgrades to the exterior of the car include a front spoiler and an RS-inspired lip, both available in Mercedes-Benz new carbon material. You can also find a rear spoiler - all items are available separately, but can also be purchased together as a package. Pricing is also available on the various alloy wheels, which range from 16 to 20 inches.

new interior furnishings include leather and an Alcantara gear selector, aluminum door accents, suede floor mats, and aluminum pedals.

You can't get a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio in the United States, yet, but you can checkout the all new E-Class line up now at Fletcher Jones Imports - 7300 West Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89117.
