Leaked: 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS

Most auto makers tend to keep big surprises under wraps until the Paris Motor Show, but sometimes a vehicle or two will leak. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS, which has been revealed thanks to a leaked brochure. 

Pieces in the leaked information are the latest spy photos, official company photos, vehicle specifications and time Mercedes-Benz's trial results taken at the Nurburgring Nordschleife test course.

As expected, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS features E-Class influenced styling and the Shooting Brake Concept. Upgraded details include flared wheel arches, a sloping roofline, LED fog lights, and optional LED headlights.

Since the launch of the C-Class Mercedes-Benz in 2007 about one million C-Class cars have been sold in that production series.

Dr Joachim Schmidt, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars, confirmed that the C-Class is the German brand's best-selling production series vehicle.

"Despite last year's weak market environment, sales of the sedan are currently four percent higher than those of the predecessor model during the same period since its market launch," he commented.

"The estate has also been met with an outstanding response, with deliveries increasing by 20 percent in June."

E-Class Cabrio By Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz has worked on a few Cabrio models in the past, but none of them have created from the all new E-Class Coupe. A group of German tuners at Carlsson have taken the E-class to the next level - a converible.

The vehicle enhancement company, Carlsson, has volumteered and succeeded at morphing an all new Mercedes-Benz E-Class two door into a drop top cabrio from luxury car paradise.

Aside from looking luxurious and just plain gorgeous, the Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI Cabriolet kit from Carlsson includes enhancements both the outside and internally.

Mercedes-Benz GL SUV

Mercedes-Benz, a world famous and greatly respected luxury car maker, is updating their GL series SUV.

The Mercedes-Benz GL, a wagon/SUV creation according to many World Car Fans, is inheriting front and styling attributes from the current E-Class. The new GL will be built on a stretched version of the next generation ML platform.

Mercedes-Benz CL Gets a Facelift

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CL coupe is getting a facelift in deisgn. Sketches of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle were released on the German automaker's official website recently.

The photos of the all new Mercedes-Benz CL/S-series coupe were suposedly "accidentally leaked" to the site, but if they were officially posted on the site it may not have been a mistake.

These photos are our first semi-official glimpse at the premium coupe in standard and AMG-trim packages. As we expected, the car is shown with a new front bumper, revised headlights, LED fog lights, and a sportier grill.
