Is plug & charge charging not working? For your Mercedes-Benz EQE or Mercedes-Benz EQS, you also have the option to start a charging session with your MBUX center display.
Please Note: You will need to activate Mercedes me Charge in your Mercedes me connect app on your mobile device.
Park your Mercedes-Benz All-Electric vehicle at a charging station.
Open the MBUX Navigation application on your center display.
Select the charging station you will be using.
Confirm that the charger ID on your center display and the ID on the charging station are the same. The ID number is above the charger number.
Look to the left of the image of a charging station. Press the “plug” image.
Review the charging information that displays and hit “OK.”
Turn off your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. This unlocks the charging flap.
Exit your Mercedes-Benz vehicle and remove the plug from the charging station.
Open the charging flap and socket cover.
Plug the charging cable into the socket of your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. You will hear a mechanical click. This click confirms that the cable is in correctly.
Your charging session will now begin.
