The Acura MDX, on the other hand, is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine that outputs up to 290 hp and up to 267 lb-ft of torque. Want an SUV that can confidently tow your boat to and from the lake? The GLE has the greater towing ability and can tow up to 7,200 pounds with the optional trailer hitch. The MDX can only tow up to 5,000 pounds.
