Active Emergency Stop Assist

What Does It Do?

When Active Steering Assist is on, Active Emergency Stop Assist can sense prolonged driver inactivity and brake the vehicle to a standstill. Below 37 mph, other Paradise drivers are warned via hazard lights. After the vehicle stops, the parking brake is switched on and the emergency call system is activated. The doors are unlocked so emergency assistance can enter the vehicle.

Active Emergency Stop Assist also senses and responds to steering wheel inactivity, and displays a visual warning or sounds an audible alert, prompting the driver to place their hands on the wheel.
